How did Reggie Bush end up with a Pass Defensed on his stats? I understand his tackles that can happen after a turnover, but how can a player on the opposing team's defense pass the ball after a turnover?

    Sounds like a mistake.

Although sometimes I do wish Bush could play CB sometimes :-)

It's in the gamebook for their game against Tampa a few weeks ago.

    Second quarter:
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 5:19
    1-10-TB 23 (5:19) 7-B.Gradkowski pass incomplete short middle to 84-J.Galloway (25-R.Bush).

Either he was in on defense on that play and defended Galloway, or the statistician was seeing 25's everywhere and made an incorrect transcription. But, that's the source of the PD in his stat line. I don't have the game so I can't confirm it. It's not discussed in the game recap on nfl.com.
