    Reset Play clock to 40 seconds looks an awful lot like "The Roof! The Roof! The Roof is on Fire!"

    Something else that could help ...
    With all the technology available, why don't they put a trailer after the ball or sensors on the goal posts that light up when the ball goes through? How bout positioning a camera above the goal post?..
    The yellow first down line is a good start.:highfive:

    I believe they have a camera mounted on the crossbar of the field goal sometimes. It rotates and follows the ball through the uprights. I don't know if they do that all the time or not, but you'll see it on most nation-wide broadcasts.
