That's deep brother.
You should see me in court.
As the defendant?
As the juror.
Crockett has been making a lot of td CATCHES from the training camp observations i’ve read. I am excited to watch him play tomorrow. Hopefully we got this year’s Phillip Lindsey.
It is the BOB organization whether y'all like it or not. He's the main decision maker this yr in personnel. Davenport while serviceable as a backup isn't and never will be a starting level OT in the NFL, so it's addition by subtraction.
Keyword "SERVICE-ABLE"... I would agree with your statement about Davenport if OSWEILER were still
the starting QB or Joe Webb or even A.J. McCarreon... But while our "FRANCHISE" QB is back there,
It is SUBTRACTION by subtraction.
There's a difference between this being the O'Brien Organization and
Cal McNair "ALLOWING" Bill O'Brien to make personnel decisions while
simultaneously manipulating O'Brien to show his true colors...
How the hell are we going to get Zeke from Dallas AND a first round pick?
Also your 2nd point is moot seeing how Zeke doesn't even want to play under that contract for the team that drafted him.. Whoever trades for this guy (assuming Dallas would even consider trading him right now.. which they won't) will have to make this guy the highest paid RB in the league upon trading for him.
That’d be great if we did. He seems to have decent vision as well as pass catching ability from the camp notes I’ve read thus far.
Here is how he plans to get him.
And here is the best part, he doesn't even want Zeke.
All this is done to get Andrew Thomas next year instead of, you know, doing what normal teams do and just trade up for your guy if you can't draft high enough for him. Yeah its as dumb as it sounds.
How about Mercilus instead of Clowney
Like that better?
The point is, it doesn't matter who it is.. Dallas isn't doing that trade and neither are the Texans.
So, we traded for Duke... Nice contract just don't like giving John Dorsey a pick
He knows how to turn a pick into a positional player that the owner of the pick
Would've needed... like what the Browns did with our 1st rounder picking CB Denzel Ward
at #4 overall and our 2nd rounder picking RB Nick Chubb
With the pick we just gave up, I can almost guarantee the Browns turn
it into a sleeper Offensive Linemen or RB Jonathan Taylor if not a DB.
All positions we need to fill
I overall like the trade at face value but when it's all said and done
we'll be kicking ourselves, blaming O'Brien, for cutting D'onte who
will be making plays in Indy his 1st year behind a stout Offensive line.
Looking back, we'll say... we traded for Duke Johnson when we
should've traded for Trent Williams.
Texans would give up a 3rd-round pick to Cleveland if Duke Johnson is active for 10 games,
if not then it's a 4th rounder
Should get atleast one 3rd round comp pick this season. Maybe 2.
Every year someone says this
Who gives a flying squirrel what they do with the pick?
D'onta clearly hasn't recovered beyond being allowed to play and/or has the reported poor work ethic. Be shocked if he plays any significant role.
So now we know Trent could be had for a conditional 4th?
Used a third round pick to replace a third round pick. How can anyone complain about that? & we know this guy is healthy.
