He was one of the most dynamic returners three seasons ago. In the last two he has a total of 2 TD returns.

Yeah, he sort of lost that edge. That or teams just learned the word "contain" a little better when playing them. Maybe the fast track at St. Louis helps.

They expect to give up allot of TDs on D and need a vet returning all of those balls.

Chiefs | D. Hall trade update
    Wed, 25 Apr 2007 09:19:11 -0700

Updating a previous item, Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams have swapped third-round picks in this year's NFL Draft as part of the trade which sent WR Dante' Hall to the Rams Wednesday, April 25.

So they gave up a fifth and swapped thirds, is it just me or did KC do really well in this deal?

KC and St. Louis were only two picks apart in the 3rd.

Yeah but it's not like Hall has been that effective the last couple of years. The fifth alone might have been a bit of an overpay.

Agreed there--just meant the swapping 3rds was almost meaningless.
