"Linehan trimmed 10 players from the roster Saturday morning, included in that group are cornerback DeJuan Groce, defensive tackles Brian Howard and Tim Sandidge, guard Tony Palmer, linebacker Tim McGarigle, tight end Jerome Collins, running backs Moe Williams and Fred Russell, quarterback Dave Ragone and receiver Dominique Thompson."

“I go a long way back with [Ragone] now and that was a tough one,” Linehan said. “I’ve done it…I left before his senior year when I was coaching him in college, and then I had to talk to him about this deal today, which was certainly not easy.”

Sure does seem like there's a lot of guys out there that were on our roster this time last year that don't have jobs right now.

No joke. You know I am not sure if alot of this is pretty much from still building the team from ground up. The sad part is we could've gotten alot more value out of that pick at that time.

Shame, I liked Ragone. He did well for himself in NFL Europe.
