I heard this on the radio (paraphrased):

'Get on the 2011 Priority Season Ticket Waiting List before time runs out!!! Last year Reliant was rocking as......'

And I though, where is this going. Seriously. Where?

'Reliant had another sell out season.'

LMAO - really? (then again, other than Arian, what could the marketing folsk say?)

I got on the list. Does that mean I have priority?

It means regardless of what is on the field in 2011, you can experience the greatest sellout in the NFL.....?

I actually wouldn't mind three or four games of "Scab Football"- it gives some players a chance.

I loved the replacement Oilers (Eugene Seale anyone?) when I was a kid but as a season ticket holder... asterisks would bother me if we won some games.

**** it. It's all football right? Bring on replacement players!

Maybe they just need to field scabs for the first two games of the new 18-game season!

I got on the list, paid money to be on the list, a few years ago before I got my PSL's and I never got notified of anything, not once. Waste of freaking 10 bucks was that it was.

Wait, are you calling Bob McNair a sellout, or the fans? ;)

    LMAO!

How many teams advertise their sellout streak as a selling point to potential season ticket holders?

They could have at least used Arian?

That would have required foresight & intelligence. I think you might be asking for too much from the marketing staff.

How can they sell tickets when they don't even know if there will be a season?

It should be illegal to sell season tickets without a CBA.

I bet this would get both sides to bargain in good faith.

Weirdest thing. Since the season was over...... Since our season was over, I've had 6 people talk to me about buying season tickets (everybody knows I've got tickets). 3 of which I know got on the waiting list & actually talked to Texans.

One guy was dead set on getting tickets. His optimism is sky high right now about the Texans. I don't understand it. He mentioned Foster & Wade as selling points. He thinks we're going to be the team of the decade..... 2010-2020 that is.

He's a knowledgeable guy, knows enough about football. Says he wants to get in before the PSLs are too expensive. Wants a set for him & his son (12).....

I showed him the PSL marketplace, told him he could get PSLs without getting on the priority list. Told him about this place too.

You know, man, law of averages says this team is going to get to the playoffs eventually. I guess it just depends on what time curve you are using to calculate that average.

Unfortunately, I am on the downside of that curve. They need to turn the frown upside down in a hurry!
