I know I know... I'm just trying to motivate myself so I can bare watching the final games of the season. That playoff generator thing is still pretty fun to mess with regardless.

I used this program last year as the season was winding down- it's really a pretty neat tool.

Even though the Texans chances are not very good of running the table, the interesting thing is that, according to Solomon's blog entry and a following comment at the Chronicle's website, if the Jags and Colts lose this coming Sunday, the Texans will actually control their own fate. I know, it doesn't sound realistic, but I played around with the playoff generator, and it's true.

Do I think there's much of a chance of that? No, but it's interesting that as much as the AFC South was touted before the year, a 9-7 or possibly 8-8 record could win it.

Cool. I did one where all AFC South teams tied with 7-9 records and the Texans advanced to the playoffs.
