Steelers and Niners at the Stick. Two old school franchises playing in an old school stadium. We might even see some dirt and mud and stuff tonight.

That said, I'm pulling for the Niners (My 2nd team, wife's 1st team, and as a Texan it's not even close there) and if I'm a real Niner fan I hope the improbable theme of this week continues tonight.

    This just in......

Old school electrical work at Candlestick too. Power outage (no earthquake) will cause a delay.

I hope there really is no earthquake.

EDIT: Looked like a transformer blew. Film at eleven. Santa Clara, here they come.

That was cool to see. Everything just went black.

Definitely a transformer, you could see it blow.

I missed that replay, Donna said it was cool.

I'll bet ESPN is glad they used real aerial coverage tonight...lol.

It's no wonder that SF says that all these days, they need a new stadium. Well sooner may come better as Candlestick or whatever it is called Park, is falling apart.

Got that right lol. I'm sure the Niners can't wait to get the hell outta Candlestick to their new digs in Santa Clara.

Here's the video of the power going out. Looks cool.

Wish I could say I made it. Some dude I follow on twitter always has gifs of football stuff happening at the moment it happens. He's awesome.

Wow. San Fran with the pick in the endzone. Good deal, those missed open field tackles looked like the 2010 Texans.

I'm pulling for the Steelers tonight. Would like them to have the top seed so we get to play there if both teams make it that far.

I don't get that, but cool. Personally, I have seen enough Houston playoff losses in Pittsburgh for one lifetime. :D

What? Really? If there's any place I don't want to play in the playoffs, it would be the Steelers in their house.

Yeah, I'm still scratching my head as to why any fan of any team would prefer a playoff game anywhere but in their own house.

Alex Smith has to make that throw to Crabtree. Doubt the Niners get many more chances like that.
