well, figured we might as well start this thread now since the entire week for the sports nation is going to be devoted to this game as it is.

both teams are undefeated, and both are pretty much in a class above everyone else. who wins?

    should be an awesome game.

I can't believe NBC doesn't have this as their Sunday night game. Houston obviously won't be getting the game since it's on at the same time as the Texans-Raiders game... :(

speaking of regional action, the only CBS game on during the Colts/Pats game is Houston/Oakland. i imagine most of the country won't be getting that one.

we're going to be in Las Vegas starting Tuesday, so I will be able to get a bet in.

I'm thinking Indy right now...anyone care to tell me why I'm wrong and to bet NE instead?

I agree. I think it will be....

    Patriots: 35 or 38 or 41

    Colts: 14 or 17 or 21 or 24

    Brady has 4 TD passes

Because this is one of the most hyped games of the year (probably THE hyped game of the year). Having it in prime time seemed kind of obvious. I know for sure to markets are not getting this game, The Bay Area and Houston. There are a few late games on Fox, too.

I don't think this will be as good a game as some would make it out to be. The thing that a lot of people don't realize about Indianapolis is that they are all offense, they have a a lot of wholes in their defense. The Patriots is more than good enough to contain Manning, and thus Indianapolis' chances are slim. Tom Brady and Randy Moss will have a field day with their secondary.

    I will say:
    Patriots - 42
    Colts - 20
