Fant should go before Cajuste. Vikings are rumored to be interested and need upgrade over Kyle Rudolph. He ran a 4.5 @ the combine with 39" vertical and he's 6'4 249lbs. That's insane!

I reached a little on JoeJuan Williams, merely because I think the Texans staff are really in love with him and Greedy. I hear grumblings about moving up into the 10-12 spots if Greedy is still on the board, my buddy is a scout at the combine this week and has a few friends in the organization. Gaine wants both.

Myles late in the 5th and Andre Dillard are solid value picks overall. I'd be ecstatic with this haul assuming we can sign Matthieu or Earl Thomas at safety and grab a corner on the open market.

Round 2 Pick 4 (S.F.): Cajuste, Yodny, OT, West Virginia (A)
Round 2 Pick 22: Winovich, Chase, DE, Michigan (A-)
Round 2 Pick 23: Williams, Joejuan, CB, Vanderbilt (B-)
    Round 3 Pick 3 (S.F.): Dillard, Andre, OT/OT, Washington State (A)
Round 3 Pick 22: Jordan, Michael, OG/C, Ohio State (A)
Round 4 Pick 2 (S.F.): Samuel, Deebo, WR, South Carolina (A+)
Round 5 Pick 23: Gaskin, Myles, RB, Washington (A+)
Round 6 Pick 22: Russell, Dontavius, DT, Auburn (A+)
Round 7 Pick 23: Connelly, Ryan, ILB, Wisconsin (A+)

Nice picks but Dillard would have to break a leg between now and the draft to fall out of the top 15.

I’m hoping JoeJuan Williams is a bit more of a sleeper. Would pass on 2nd rd. but be a buyer in 3rd. Developmental safety/cb and core special teams player.

Williams might be a Seahawk press corner. Not a fit for the Texans. And no reason to project as a Safety, when that position has several pro ready guys in this draft. I think he's a day 3 pick for Seattle, Niners, or Falcons.

Andre Hal played corner for Vanderbilt too and I thought he was too small for safety. Just goes to show you never know next level what a players capabilities are until proven. And far as grading slot wise had him going to Eagles just a few picks ahead of where Texans drafted him.

Just going on what the trade simulator gave me. Definitely don't think the Dillard pick is realistic.

My buddy is also scouting at the draft this week, several friends in the organization. The Texans are highly likely to move up 10-15 spots if Greedy is on the board and the value makes sense. They are absolutely in love with him. They want to snag both Williams ' in this draft. They're going to approach OL more in free agency. Again this is strictly intent, not reality, but I very much trust my buddy. Fellow S&C coach, tons of mentoring under his belt, lots of freelance work.

Is there a CB in this draft that physically compares more to Kevin Johnson than Greedy Williams? Not saying Greedy will have Johnson's career. Just think it would be a bit ironic.

I like UH's Isaiah Johnson. His length, speed and physicality could easily fill the Texans CB needs.

If they are bigger, faster and smarter, they will have Texans shaped bullseyes on their backs.

I tried another The Draft Network- Mock Draft Machine....interesting as to how they have the players ranked.

RD1-023. Dalton Risner, RT / Kansas State
RD2-054. Andre Dillard, LT / Washington State
RD2-055. Hakeem Butler, WR / Iowa State
RD3-086. Isaiah Johnson, CB / Houston
    RD5-161. Erik McCoy, IOL / Texas A&M
RD6-195. Tim Harris, CB / Virginia
RD7-220. Corbin Kaufusi, EDGE / BYU

I would be completely satisfied if this could happen. Watson would be in good hands.....as would the OL. Butler would be an insane add to the receiving group. Johnson and Harris would add some size and thump to the CB position. Kaufusi could be a solid answer on the DL or EDGE.

Their draft machine needs a tuneup.
