Okay maybe i'm being a bit greedy but what are our chances realistically of nabbing him? The Giants just lowballed him and he seems very unhappy. The guy is coming off of nine sacks.

Not sure we need him. And if the Giants can't offer enough we probably can't either.

He's not a 3-4 end...and we just invested a #1 on an edge rusher....no money under the cap to work with....all adds up to nada.

We have 6 DE's on the roster right now. Who would you cut? Plus he only played 9 games last year, he's quite old and should retire in NY.

    Not. Gonna. Happen.

I have to admit when I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be a discussion about them firing back and forth at each other in the media. And who was the most tacky in taking the negotiations public. I didn't expect it to be a question about whether we should go after him. I guess I'm getting slow in my old age.

No thanks, he's not worth the money he wants.

We have absolutely no needs for him at this point, and the last thing we need is to pay a guy like him a ton of money when we're deep as hell at that position.

This thread might as well be about re-signing Mario, because it would be practically the same thing.

We need to look for a CB or a an improvement at S or T if anything. We're stacked with pass rushers! :hurrah:
