One great tailgating recipe

Depending on how many buddies you have over to watch the game, make as many as you want.

Drunk Chicken

Take a large enough sheet of aluminum foil as it will take to wrap the whole chicken (2 sheets if you're grilling it to keep from burning) and lay it on the counter.
Clean out the giblets and excess fat from the chicken and rinse well with cold water.
Lay the chicken breast down on the foil.
Take a whole lemon and cut it in half. Squeeze half the lemon on the outside of the chicken and squeeze the other half on the inside. Save one of the halves of lemon.
Take fresh rosemary and thyme and remove the heavy stems from it. Chop them up together very fine.
Now sprinkle your favorite seasoning (I use Tony Chachere's Original or Slap Yo Mamma) and the rosemary and thyme mixture all over the outside and inside of the chicken.
Now shove the half of squeezed lemon you saved inside the chicken. Shove an eighth of an onion inside the chicken. Take five cloves of garlic, chop them up and put them inside the chicken.
Now take a 12 oz can of your favorite cooking beer (I use Busch) and poke a small hole on the side of the can near the bottom. Shove the can hole side first inside the chicken. Tilt the can so the hole is slightly sideways pointing upward. Now wrap the foil tightly around the chicken. Place in the oven at 300 degrees for 2 and a half hours or on the grill as close to 300 as you can get it for 2 and a half hours.
Add 30 minutes additional cooking time for more then one chicken.

Cajun Corn on the Cobb

Lay a sheet of aluminum foil on the counter big enough to wrap the corn in. Shuck and clean your corn. Lay three strips of bacon lengthwise side by side close enough together to cover the corn. Take 1 large jalapeno per ear of corn and first remove the stem. Then slice it thinly length wise. You can remove the seeds and pintle if you don't want it to be to hot. Lay the jalapeno out across the bacon. Now roll the bacon and jalapeno around the corn. Melt some butter with garlic powder and drown the corn with it. Now wrap the foil around it tightly. Put the corn in the oven or on the grill 25 minutes before the chicken is done and turn it often so it won't burn on one side.

Now make your favorite potato salad, noodle salad, baked beans, or what ever you like to go with it.

Be sure to make enough for all your buddies.

Get plenty of your favorite beer (mine is Bud Lite) and enjoy the game!

Three halves from one lemon? :D

Sounds great man!

LOL...Just 1 lemon, 2 halves. Just shove one of the halves inside the chicken after both have been used to squeeze inside and outside of the chicken.
It is absolutely delicious. Especially with the Cajun corn on the cob and baked beans.
