Its OBVIOUS we aren't taking Vince. Though I'd HATE to see us in a situation where D. Carr pulls a Joey H and we're stuck with starting all over again instead of having a qb with actual starting capabilities learning w/o having to spend our #1 pick.

    Your thoughts Texan Nation....

Jacobs in the 3rd. Ummm, no. He isn't worth a first day pick. He is over rated. I wouldn't touch him before the 5th. Besides the fact you do realize we just signed a #2 QB right?

    I wasn't trying to get him as a #2.

I think Jacobs could be a decent pick but with one of our 3rds thats too high. Maybe we can get him with our 6th or 7th if we're lucky.

Then what were you trying to draft him as?? A #3 on the first day??

If we wanted a #1 QB we could take VY, Leinart, Cutler.... why settle for Jacobs.

I see QB as a low priority this year. Carr has a new opportunity, Rosenfels was brought in by Kubiak because he likes him... I see no need for QB's

I'd actually like to see us draft DJ Shockley in the 7th round as a developmental QB project. I think the kid has tons of upside but didn't get much experience at Georgia. If that doesn't work out, he still has the athletic ability to convert to WR.

Who is this #2 QB we have just signed?? I know you are not talking about Sage? Jacobs is overrated, played in a very weak conference like the pac 10

Shockley does sound good, but I wold take reggie McNeal, then we would have the fastest Rb in the draft and the fastes Qb in the draft.

Hey I don't see why not. We draft RB's in every draft, so why not QB's too?

I dont see where the MAC is worse than the PAC 10. There was only two teams from the PAC 10 who were in the top 50 in the nation for defense?

The only way we'll take Omar with on the first day, is if we take Mario with the first. There's no way we'll draft Reggie Bush, and a QB on the first day. Certain people know that, & that is why they are against it.

Carr has to be our man, if we are to get Bush.

If we are looking at project qb's, maybe Barrick Nealy, Texas State.

    41 TD and only 3INT

Thats sounds pretty good stats even if he is in a bad conference

I mean he didnt throw an INT against that Oklahoma Defense when he was a Sophomore, he just threw 2 TD.

I think this guy can be one of the best in the NFL, I just dont see him ending up a Texan, sorry Jacobs fans (IM one of them)
