First one I've seen so far:

    1. Our first two games are against Super Bowl calibur teams. What do you expect?

In the immortal words of Jeremy Grey: Rule #76: No excuses. Play like a champion!

Not having a secondary that can defend Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stockley.

    That and careless turnovers.

    Offense is clicking though.

How about this one......Its only the 2nd game of the 1st year of our new head coach who has to undo 4 years of horrible coaching and waisted draft picks. Patience.... The hard reality of it is we have to crawl before we can walk..AAAAAALLLLLLLLLL over again.

The goal of this thread is to come up with a list of potential excuses for every position on our football team's poor play. I'll start, you guys fill in the rest:

    1. Carr would be an awesome QB if he had a decent OL

can we just cut the other 10 ideas that could be linked to #1 and just say "our team would win if we had a decent OL"?

Our secondary would be good if our D-line was better...

The Texans would have won 2 games by now if it wasn't for the schedule.

Well, I would last longer if....oh. Uh....we'd get more sacks if the opposing QB wasn't so good. :ok:

How about this. our secondary would be good if our O-line was better and didn't keep the Defense on the field so much. :tease:

I kicker would do much better if they would just move the goal posts over some.
