My boss and I, being the compulsive gamblers we are, have made a bet. I told him to set the O//U for sacks Mario Williams will have by end of the regular season and to put 20 dollars on it.

I got to choose if i wanted over or under and he would take the other automatically.

He set the number at 10.5 and i ofcourse took the over.

I just wanted to share and maybe start a thread and see what y'all would have taken.

    I dunno.
If all the other teams watch tape of yesterday's game they'll start quadruple-teaming Mario and letting the punter and waterboys block the rest of our D-line.

I would be all over the number with it at 10.5.

Yea, people have been saying that since he first got hot midway through last season, though.

I don't see Mario being stopped any time soon. Given, the offense will focus on him more, but I've seen the guy shed double teams with ease. He will get to the QB.

On the front row in the endzone!!!

Yea, when he said 10.5 sacks you should have raised the bet amount. baring injuries, mario should have that easy.

If my boss fired me.. He wouldn't have anyone to go to Hooters and drink copious amounts of beer with at lunchtime. I love accounting!

From the sounds of things, you should place more wagers while "drinking copious amounts of beer at lunchtime" with your boss. That could be a get rich quick scheme.

if we could have been more competitive in the game, Mario would have a good chance at Defensive Player of the Week.

I'm gonna go with 14 sacks or over.

The scary thing is, imagine if the game was even remotely close. His opportunities would have doubled.
