With a win against the Jets, the Bengals can take the 3rd seed from the Pats.

If a win would give Cincy #3 and match them up with the Texans, how hard do you think they'd try for that?

Hopefully they will crush the Jets! My biggest concern was that they would have no reson to play, but with us beating the Pats, that kinda changes all of that. I've got a good feeling about our chances. Regardless, it's the small steps and us winning today was a step forward, not a step backwards. If we don't make it, atleast we ended on a good note and can hopefully build from there. We don't have huge holes to fill this year, just some key spots that need upgrading. We did learn a lot about Foster today, that makes me feel good.

    Go BENGALS!

    GO OAKLAND!

    Go CHEIFS!

    Houston, again.
IMO, they would like that. I think they aren't real happy we beat them and would like to stick it to us, so I expect they will play hard IF IF IF the 3 rd spot means much of anything to them.

we're still in if only one of the 8-7 teams (Jets/Ravens/Broncos) win? So we only need two of the three games to go our way?

This game means nothing if both the Ravens and Broncos win. Let's get one of those first before we start talking about this one.

Still too early? Broncos most likely won't pull a win out.

hmm.. Tony Dungy says if he was hte Bengals he would play to win today for the chance to play the championship game at home..

Random other guy says he would rest his starters so he could play a rookie QB with turnover problems at home.. and that Houston is a team that can come in and put up 25-35 points, and you dont want to face them in the playoffs.

    Yep, unfortunately this is true.

Why would the Bengals want to play us?

I guess if they rest their starters hoping to avoid us they don't have the mentality of a champion any ways...will be interesting to see what happens.

Baltimore is the 5 seed. Cincy basically gets their choice of Jets or Texans

Does Cincy want to send the Jets home fast and get a rematch with the Texans? Or, do they want to lose against the Jets and hope to beat them next week again? Too long of a wait! :(

Houston the only name on the bubble...

F Peyton Manning. Wouldn't it be wonderful if Manning tripped on the bench and knocked himself out for the playoffs?. Pullling your starters to save them for games 3+ weeks away? The Colts must pay the price.

We'd be in the playoffs right now if it wasn't for that ridiculous move last week. I now know how the Browns felt in 2007
