This year, because of the lockout, this symposium is optional. Only 125 rookies are expected to attend.

In the future, will these players be needing to seek other symposia, such as "Preparing for Life in Prison," "Avoiding Domestic Strife with Your New 'Significant Other' Bubba" and "Adapting to Life Under a Bridge?"

Or how about the ever popular "Ins and outs of the Prenuptial agreement"

I think they could use this one: "Sextortion: She Would Not Say 'Hi' to You if You Worked at WalMart"

It's sad that the NFL even has to put on these symposiums. Why can't adults act like adults and be treated as such instead of acting like idiots and being treated like children. The very fact that they have to give kindergarten level classes to adults on how not to screw up the best thing that ever happened in your life is just sad. Classes like "How not to be a HO's baby daddy". "How to avoid your posse" etc....

I take it Vince Young did not attend this symposium during his rookie year.
