NFL to add aptitude test to the Wonderlic at this year’s scouting combine

    This is what I don't get. Who cares if it's a less than accurate predictor of future football success? A QB's 40 time is a closer predictor of future football success? Height for a QB? Arm length for an OT? Etc., etc. The test is just one indicator in an array of indicators. It's no more or less indicative of future football success than many of the tests that players have to undergo.

    Sounds like players just don't want the world to know that they're dumber than a bag of hammers.

    Okay, I remember seeing this on TV and this is an OBVIOUS misrepresentation! When asked what 2 + 2 was Vince said "Cat." Get it straight.

    I think if they want to test players aptitude they should get an elderly black man in his 90s to walk up to individual players and say:

    "Look a-hear son...le..lemme axe you a question. Is you stupid or sumthin' boy?" And we should judge them based on how they answer.
