It's absurd to claim champions are built, only built, on miscreants.

Requiring good players to be good people has nothing to do with mediocrity

Right, or the Bengals would have about 9 Lombardi's by now.

You're not bringing in the best players. I'm not saying bring in a team full of miscreants but 2 or 3 wouldn't hurt.

Would guys like Hunt/Hill/Talib make the Texans on field product better?

Not on offense if O'Brien is still calling the plays.
Talib might help on defense. But I doubt it, he's 33 yrs old. So would he actually be any better than Joseph who has already been in RAC's system for years??

Disagree, look at the pts scored last season with a beat up offense. Let Fuller/Coutee stay healthy and improved OL pay and you'll see. I expect a top 10 defense next yr since they are playing against much easier defenses.

In FF I think the Texans offense is a bargain.

Mitch Petrus dies of heat stroke; former Giants offensive lineman was 32
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Offensive lineman Mitch Petrus, a walk-on at Arkansas who went on to a three-year NFL career that included a Super Bowl win with the Giants, has died. He was 32.

Pulaski County Coroner Gerone Hobbs said Petrus died of heat stroke Thursday night at a North Little Rock hospital after working outside that day at his family's shop near his hometown of Carlisle, which is about 35 miles (55 kilometers) east of Little Rock.

Like much of the country, Arkansas is in the grips of an intense heat wave. The heat index — the temperature it felt like — in the area where Petrus was working on Thursday was higher than 100 degrees (38 Celsius), according to the National Weather Service.

Instead of living life as if he made 40M over his career.....he lived life as if he made 200M with a lifetime residual income.

No and he isn't highest paid. It's an extension to an existing year so it's actually 6 years and averages a bit over $12 mil. Collins, Mathieu & Thomas are higher, $14, $14 & $13.8. Still a huge payday for one great year in 2017. Have to wait to see the actual structure.
