If this comes to be, with some players, the size of their helmets may begin to rival the size of the helmet team "golf" carts.
I find it humorous that the NFL allows hair tackles. No dog collaring, but feel free to grab some hair and sling a player to the ground. I'd get it chopped to keep it from happening, but that's just me.
Ditto. It was hilarious, I think it was a Jags game where they had to do an instant replay to see that his hair stayed inbounds. If I am a coach I'm all over that rule.
or like Dark Helmet
Man I don't even wear HATS anymore because of the dreadlocks. You know someone is going to come up with some kind of pounch in the back of the jersey to tuck the hair into right?
If you have long hair it's gunna get grabbed, thats just the way it is.
Unfortunately, like Florio said on PFT, the Union has the league by the short hairs on this one. God I hate unions.
But the hair was over the goal line..........a touchdown by a hair.....
If they really wanted to do something about offensive hair, they would do something about Bud Adams.
The best commentary on the hair issue:
Carl Peterson has a real problem with you damn hippies
I stand before you, Mr. Goodell, in representation of all the NFL players that have seen fit to use my fine example over the years as their inspiring role model.
