Good reminder of the greatest imo analyst ever. For those that don't remember or never heard of him, he had an eval on just about any college player a listener could name. I could not believe it when I heard in 2002 that he had died from natural causes. John McClain basically repeats what he has said in past but I consider it a tribute to a great man, Joel Buchsbaum.

He was the 1st draft guy I remember listening to . Him and Jim Zsabo (sp) are my favorites still .

I think one of the readers that posted a note in the Chroncle said it best, so I will reprint his remark here:

JOEL BUSCHSBAUM: 5 ft 9 in, 105 lb. 40 time in the 8's.

Couldn't move the tackling dummy one inch, but world class accent. First pick skill at evaluating players. I don't like him, I love him. And we all miss him. God took him first overall in 2002.

I wished he could have found a cheer leader to spend some time with.
