Negative vibes on the board so I wanted to point out that we're facing possibly the worst team in the NFL. The Falcons make the Chiefs look like a Super Bowl contender. Even if we have our 3rd and 4th stringers, we'll beat the Falcons decisively.

Schaub will probably be pumped going back to Atlanta and we'll annihilate the Falcons, mark it.

I think the over/under will be if there are 6 sacks on Harrington/Leftwich by the half...

No QB's in Atlanta.... just Piñatas

No doubt we will win this next game. Going to be a long week though.

    Any given Sunday.

This team will play flat next Sunday if they get too caught up with the distractions of the injuries, the letdown from the Colts game, not really getting up for the Falcons because of all the problems they are having.

    I smell an upset.

That's the old Texans, this one has leaders on the team. We will not be beaten by a horrible Atlanta Falcons team. We went to the best team in the NFC South's home and kicked the crap out of them. The Falcons suck and we'll win it easily. They give up 6 sacks a game and our DL will crush their OL.

Yeah but who will WE have? If we don't have AJ, JJ, AG, or RD I think we might be in for a long stretch of games. Plus we will be in Atlanta. ATL will be at home and want to push us around. Hopefully we will be physically and mentally strong.

We also had our number 1 receiver, number 2 receiver, number 1 back, and number 2 backs available?

Atlanta will be fired up for this game. They DO NOT want Matt Schaub to come in there and make them look more foolish than they already are.

If we don't go there ready to play, we won't take care of business.

Defense>Offense. I don't give a crap who we throw out there on offense, we'll kick their teeth in with our defense and their horrible offense.

Carolina up 3-0 over the Felons in the 2nd...

"Falcons coach: Joey Harrington partially to blame for multiple sacks
    September 17, 2007

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Joey Harrington, who has been sacked 13 times in his first two starts for the Falcons, was feeling more heat on Monday — this time from his coach.

Bobby Petrino said it’s not fair to blame the offensive line for the high sack totals — including seven in Sunday’s 13-7 loss at Jacksonville.

Petrino said Harrington is holding the ball too long.

“I think right now Joey is playing a little bit conservative, a little bit not to throw the interception,” Petrino said. “Therefore it is causing him to hold the ball. He just needs to open it up more with confidence and play to go win the game.”

Joey is going to be lunch for the D-Line

Can't be thinking we're good enough on paper to beat ANYONE in this league. Today's game showed what a few injuries can really do to a team. We're hurt, they suck - two main parts of over looking an opponent.

They looked better today... don't overlook anyone!

But we do have hot lanta and then Miami... two games that if we were totally healthy I would say for sure we'd win... but as is the case we'll need to play a solid game to win both.

    Houston, again.
We are wounded offense and have been exposed as having a very weak secondary. That doesn't seem like a team that can be garanteeing anything. Are the next two winnable....yes, but not any where near as likely as they were before today.

    Feel confident about this one.

This SHOULDN'T be a trap game because its not like we are a powerhouse, I think our guys will have that loss fresh in their minds and ready to get a W.

Also I wouldn't take too much in how they played today, that's their divisional rival so that was expected. I still think with all our players out that our defense should look GREAT in this game.

Losing by 6 points to the best team in the NFL with some key starters missing is always reason for hope. We are so much better than last year, on both sides of the ball.
