Like YTF and Kiper I am locked in on one player except mine is Jamaal Anderson now that he has declared. Did you see what this kid did his bowl game? 5 TFLs and 3 sacks against the Wisconsin OLT. Holy Smokes. At 6'6" and 280#s he is quick and disruptive. 19.5 TFLs and 13.5 sacks this year and that's playing in the SEC. Played WR in HS, also played BB and track. You gotta love him!

Did he really get 5 sacks against Joe Thomas? If so, I wonder fo Thomas' stock is gonna fall.

Since he's coming out ... he can now be ranked .

He's 2nd beneath Gaines Adams ... Charles Johnson is 4th according to Scott Wright .

That is 4 pretty stout DEs in this draft.
    I rank 'em 1.Anderson 2.Johnson 3.Adams 4.Moses
It will be interesting to see how they all perform at the combine and that will probably shake them out. Adams & Moses have the Senior Bowl.

Know nothing about him... saw he was an exceptional WR in high school, was an excellent basketball player, and did track and field. Anybody have a scout on him? The size/skillset sounds like a Peppers type, not like a Mario/Reggie White type. If he is a Taylor/Peppers type pass rusher/disruptor he'd be a great but gutsy pick for HOU. His stats make the case that he's a pretty active guy with a good motor... exactly what we need.

I for one would be happy if we went and got us one of these guys.... You can't beat pressure from the front four.. leads to all sorts of good things happening.

For all those guys that were anti-Mario would another DE pick make their heads explode??

I was pro-Mario all the way last year and would not like us to draft a DLineman in the 1st round. I haven't seen any yet that wow me enough to use the #8 pick and I think we have much more drastic needs, specifically in the secondary. However, if one of these guys grades out high enough and is their best-rated player at #8 then I trust their decision to draft them there, but at this point I don't overly like the idea.

I like the guy too. I wouldn't spend a first rounder on him because of our recent draftts, but he is a talent. I've watched him all season.

I think if your looking DE you can wait to see if this guy falls.

2 things that jumped out at me without having seen him play, or at least paying attention to him while watching arkansas. everyone knows that B-ball players are the most athletic players. Gates, Gonzalez, Peppers, Mcnabb.............. VY, TO etc.

Not necessarily but it does underscore the point that EVERY YEAR there are "game changing" defensive ends available. But every year, Vince Young is not available. So if we'd passed on Mario last year, there are several guys this year who are just about as good, and don't require the first pick in the draft

This is what I was afraid of, Jamaal Anderson could be gone by #8. I saw on Sports Center where Kiper now has Anderson listed as the #5 player on his board.
