    1. Texans Reggie Bush RB Southern California
Forget the trade rumors; people lose jobs over passing on the next Barry Sanders.

    2. Saints Matt Leinart QB Southern California
Not as much upside as other top QBs, but struggling franchise needs stability.

    3. Titans Vince Young QB Texas
In Steve McNair and offensive coordinator Norm Chow, Young would have the mentors to be successful.

    4. Jets D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT Virginia
Without a stronger line, offense will continue to struggle regardless of the quarterback.

    5. Packers Mario Williams DE North Carolina State
Williams impressed at the Combine and is emerging as the top defensive talent in the draft.

    6. 49ers Vernon Davis TE Maryland
Linebacker and defensive back are bigger needs, but Davis is skyrocketing and Alex Smith needs weapons.

    7. Raiders A.J. Hawk OLB Ohio State
Long blond hair and an incredible nose for the football. Has Al Davis written all over him — and fills a big need.

    8. Bills Haloti Ngata DT Oregon
The Bills have to address the defensive tackle position, and Ngata could be a dominator in the mold of Sam Adams.

    9. Lions Jay Cutler QB Vanderbilt
Joey Harrington has received support from new coaching staff, but Cutler is a potential franchise QB with a huge arm.

    10. Cardinals Brodrick Bunkley DT Florida State
Darnell Dockett's sophomore slump could turn into a third-year thrill with help from his former Seminoles teammate.

    11. Rams Michael Huff DB Texas
The top defensive back in the draft falls into the lap of the team which arguably needs him the most.

    12. Browns Chad Greenway OLB Iowa
Not necessarily the prototype 3-4 outside linebacker, but Greenway's size, production and versatility is attractive.

    13. Ravens LenDale White RB Southern California
Ravens can't win without a running game, and Jamal Lewis and Chester Taylor are free agents.

    14. Eagles Santonio Holmes WR Ohio State
The Eagles need to continue to add to their receiving corps and Holmes is the draft's top wideout.

    15. Falcons Jimmy Williams CB Virginia Tech
The last Hokies cornerback selected by Atlanta was DeAngelo Hall. Can Williams be just as effective?

    16. Dolphins Winston Justice OT Southern California
Damion McIntosh is a serviceable left tackle, but Justice would be a huge upgrade athletically.

    17. Vikings Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota
Maroney remaining in-state is a nice public relations move — oh, and a big lift to the running game.

    18. Cowboys Kamerion Wimbley OLB Florida State
The Cowboys could add Wimbley, arguably the draft's top 3-4 rush linebacker, to play opposite DeMarcus Ware.

    19. Chargers Tye Hill CB Clemson
The Chargers' front seven is too good to continue to be burned by an awful secondary.

    20. Chiefs (from Bills) Ashton Youboty CB Ohio State
The Chiefs defense improved last year, but too often relied on veterans on the downside of their careers.

    21. Patriots DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis
Williams' strength is his versatility, something the Patriots admire in a backup — or future replacement for Corey Dillon.

    22. Broncos (from Redskins) Tamba Hali DE Penn State
Unless the Browns plan to unload more defensive linemen this year, the Broncos would be wise to add through the draft.

    23. Buccaneers Ernie Sims OLB Florida State
Often compared to former Seminole Derrick Brooks, he could be drafted to replace him.

    24. Bengals Kelly Jennings CB Miami
A bit slight for some schemes, Jennings is nonetheless one of the draft's top cover corners.

    25. Giants Eric Winston OT Miami
Winston proved he's regaining his athleticism with a strong Combine, and would give the Giants options.

    26. Bears Marcedes Lewis TE UCLA
A bit of a reach at this point, but Lewis is a great target in the middle, something the Bears haven't had for years.

    27. Panthers Nick Mangold C Ohio State
Veteran Jeff Mitchell is a free agent, and Carolina will consider a rare center deserving of a first-round grade.

    28. Jaguars Jonathan Joseph CB South Carolina
The Jags need better play opposite Rashean Mathis, and Joseph is steadily moving up the charts.

    29. Broncos Chad Jackson WR Florida
With two first-round picks, the Broncos can afford to take a gamble on Jackson, whose Combine workout has him soaring up the charts.

    30. Colts Joseph Addai RB LSU
With the increasingly likely loss of Edgerrin James to free agency, an all-around back makes a lot of sense.

    31. Seahawks DeMeco Ryans OLB Alabama
Seattle can't rely on either Jamie Sharper or D.D. Lewis. Ryans has the range and heart to fit in here.

    32. Steelers Sinorice Moss WR Miami
With the expected loss of Antwan Randle El to free agency, look for the Steelers to add speed at wideout

Ya, that would be incredibily sweet. Adding Bush and Pope as weapons? You have to be kidding me. I would stangle the TV if we pass on Pope at the top of round 2.

Pope and Bush would be two huge additions to our offense. Pope would give us a great Red Zone target and Bush would demand defensive attention and spread the field out. We would finally have weapons that have to be covered by defenses.

Antonio Cromartie would be tempting. He is big and fast and would give problems to the T.O's and Randy Moss's of the league because they can't just jump over him.

yeah but realistically hes probably a sure-fire 1st rounder. he had a good combine-ran a 4.39- showed he was nearly back to full speed. i have him as the 1st or 2nd corner taken, probably behind hill still at this moment

edit forget about jimmy williams but he may play S yet

What about Blue from Ga.? Second round pick? I'd go for it.

If Blue doesn't improve on his forty that I saw at the combine, he may slip out of the first day altogether.

Don't even get me started on Blue.

Gilles and Ko simpson should be first rounders IMO.

They'd both be blocking on every other down...... things won't be much different, unless we handle the Oline in FA..... Lecharles Bently and some extra help.
