I decided to merge all coach hirings into one thread, especially since there are so many openings this offseason.

Packers hire Titans OC LeFleur as HC

I guess because of the success of McVay and Nagy that young and slim offensive coordinators are all the rage now. I know nothing about him however, nothing really stood out to me about the Titans offense this year, except Mariota getting injured every other week.

Someone for Aaron Rodgers to push around, I guess. Was a Texan offensive quality control coach in 2008-09, followed Kyle Shanahan to Washington, then Atlanta.

He was actually the OC for the Rams in 2017. One could make the argument that he 'adjusted' his offense to fit his personnel in 2018.

Well Rams said the Jared Goff and Sean McVey were a bust waiting to happen. But now look at where they are. Cardinals and fans and the league need to give coach Kingbury a chance.

Has a NFL team ever had back-to-back one and done HCs? And where can I place a bet that it happens in Arizona next year?

No one can deny the great job Kingsbury did in his one month as USC OC.

I'm a proud Red Raider, and I must agree. I wasn't happy to see him gone, but only because I was so disappointed by his last two seasons with us. The USC job made sense to me because his greatest success came as an OC. This? This is just confusing.

When Kingsbury was on the coaching staff at UH, the players really respected him. We will see how he handles the NFL.

Has there ever been a coach fired from college due to losing and landing an NFL HC job the same offseason? I can’t think of one.

Kubiak hired as Denver OC. Link. Fits with them hiring Vic Fangio as HC.

Not a done deal. Bowles is looking at Bears DC now that Fangio is Broncos HC.

Yup apparently Naggy's father coached Bowles in HS. Plus they have WAY more talent for him to work with than Tampa does
