My son is starting his 1st year of football in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that could help him understand the positions and plays better. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I'm going to start playing Madden with my boy in order for him to better understand the fundamentals of the game.

If you don't mind me asking, how old is your kid?

I think the best thing they can learn on Madden is how never to Punt the ball. Punting is for wimps. :whip:

It's not great, but it has some information you could use. A better thing would be to go into your local Barnes & Noble and check out the football section. They have books on the basics of football that discuss what you are looking for.
