I just had a crazy dream that Miami offered us their 2008 1st and 2nd round draft picks (#1 & #33 overall) for Andre - would you do it? What is the minimum it would take for you to trade Andre, and what would be a realistic trade value be for Andre?

Never, he's worth atleast 2 first rounders at the min. He's in his prime and a top 5 WR and will only get better. It would take alot to trade for him IMHO. Sounds more like you had a nightmare than a dream.

Id say he is the 3rd best WR in the NFL. Hell no I wouldnt trade him. If you take his numbers and stretch it out over the whole season, he would have nbeen close to TO and not as far behind Moss. How would you even begin to replace him? Not possibele. Oh, and BTW, his cap hit would cripple us horribly.

If they threw in in their 2009 1st rounder, Jason Allen, Matt Roth, and Ronnie Brown... id consider it... but id probably still have alot of reservations about it.

2 1st round draft picks, Tom Brady, and Randy Moss. Anything less would be a stupid trade in my opinion.

Miami's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks this year. Their 1st and 2nd rounders next year. Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas and their hottest cheerleader

In my estimation Andre Johnson is just about the equal of any wide receiver in the league, but without the prima donna complex that seems to plague other top tier receivers. A guy can honestly look around the league and say, "Really, nobody is upgrade over Andre." Doesn't seem wise to me give or trade away players like that.

Some of the things Andre did this year.... he just didn't make plays, he made art. He moved me. He made my jaw drop. Just thinking about watching him playing with Matt Schaub in the years to come gives me goose bumps. Even daring to dream of trading Andre away almost seems like blasphemy against the pure essence of football that we all love. I mean things like Schaub-to-Andre are the kind of reasons we watch the game in the first place.

no one is untouchable IMO, in the pursuit of a SB ring, but for AJ, it would have to be a hell of a deal consisting of young, solid players who would fill two of our needs, and then they would have to enhance it with a semi-high draft pick.

texanstalk.com server would probably melt down after the trade however so scratch it.

Cap considerations aside (which is as silly as suggesting such a trade would actually be there), but of course you pull the trigger on that deal. And hey I'm an AJ fan and he's easily our most valubale offensive player.
