That would be a much better hire for the fish than anybody that I can think of.

    Josh McDaniels is an *****.

Doesn't mean it won't be awesome, but according to a Dolphins beat-writer who was interviewed on Collin Cowherd's show this morning, Nolan was the Dolphins 3rd choice behind Al Groh (who too the DC job at Georgia Tech), and Kevin Butler - Steelers LB coach (who opted to stay in Pittsburgh).

The guy they interviewed was very deferential to Parcells ability to put together a staff, but he did note that Nolan had been with 5 NFL teams since 2002, and speculated out loud that the Dolphins might be going after names as much as they're going after coaching talent. He noted that they'd also added recently fired Giants D-Coordinator Bill Sheridan as their LB coach.

Way to go McFailure. You took the 2nd best offense in the NFL and turned it in to the 15th, then turn around and fire the guy who actually improved the defense.

Hey, while you're at it why not try to run off your Pro Bowl QB and WR? Oh... wait, you did. :thisbig:
