C'mon folks he drives like a Tank, he's behind LT and wants to be a starter...

Make the room... give him the keys he's our new man.

Kubiac go get him... And prove you know what yer doin! We will forgive the Dayne and Gado trade... Only

NOT the 1st Draft pick of 06 you really screwed up with Notsosuper mario...We should have done a Ricky Williams Deal with 1st round pick...

    Turner the Burner!!!

Michael Turner for Texans RB lets see how many agree...

No, spend the money on a def that works. Once we can keep the opponent from scoring 30+ points, then we can worry about a running game.

thats not smart. why get a better defense when you cant score. lets say opponents only score 15 points a game so what we cant score at all. with no running game we will always get beat. we need a new quaterback and runningback

With no def, it doesn't matter how good your running game is, unless your scoring more than 35 points a game your losing. With a strong def, the few points our current offense dose make will win game. I'd rather lose games with a low score than to be constantly run over week after week.

With a running game it would open up our so-so passing game. Carr is doing good even though were one dimensional but we still cant score because teams know we can only pass the ball. With a better defense we would still be losing just not as bad so whats the point.

Offensive wise a good running game would give us a better chance at giving johnson and moulds more opportunities down the field.

Defensively speaking I would choose a FS with the likes of brian dawkins or troy polamu (forgive my spelling).

Chicago went 13-3 last year with an O that couldn't score more than 10 points a game.

Michael Turner is no ordinary back up... He could and will start next season for somebody. He will be picked up! Besides San Diego has LT.

We need Turner You'll see... I read some one called him a second stringer not worth the money...hmmmm???? He must not look at stats or anything about other teams. He has more run yards and touchdowns than all of our RB combined including Carrr... Thats funny our QB has more run yards that our RB...??? And TD's to boot!!! Unacceptable!!!

Defense wins championships. Defense gives you more opportunities on OFFENSE.

I'd like to get Turner. Think he's definitely starter material but please don't be obsurd saying a RB solves our problem. In case you don't know our O-line still bites.

I agree there. No reason really for Diego to give him up really. You need to quality RB's these days like you need two good QB's.

Considering its looking like we are going to have a top 5 pick in the 1st round this year. I'd rather hold on to that puppy.

  13. Well Turner is up this year for a contract so I doubt the Chargers will be able to keep him. He is fantastic and needs to start in the NFL. We should consider getting this guy just like we should have looked at Chester Taylor of the Vikes.

He will be an RFA--they can high tender him and look for a 1st and 3rd as the starting point for any negotiation.

Lets see, everyone in the nation saw that we have didly squat for a run game. I bet they would give up a good #2 back for say maybe a fourth or fith round pick. Like that will happen. The Pope will be speaking in tongues and swearing in Swahilie at the Easter service before that happens. The other teams will be looking to hold us up big time, because they know we are in bad shape.

Is he a starter or a backup?

You have no idea what you are talking about. His stats can and are deceiving. He has NOT played against 1st defenses.

Get off this "let's trade the farm for someone elses headache" gig. Starting a new thread when we already had this debate going on is clueless.

    You Sir, are clueless.

Why give a high pick on a back up when he can use our first on the real deal?
