Michael Huff OAK S will be a free agent should the Texans have intrest in him?
Has Huff lived up to his draft position?

I think he is a strong upgrade over Pollard.
Huff has shown the ability to cover and make plays.
    What are your thoughts?

Huff would be better off as a FS, imo.

By now, you could pretty much consider him a bust. He hasn't lived up to his draft position at all.

But he does have skills, and a fresh start somewhere will do him some good. I think in the right situation (I wouldn't consider that to be us) he can still be a solid starter.

He dosent have 2 live up 2 his draft position - he just has 2 be an improvment over our current players. i think he fits the bill.

I want no part of Michael Huff. He's been a huge disappointment considering what he was supposed to be. He doesn't really make plays in the passing game and his effort in the running game was absolutely atrocious when Houston played them. Granted Arian Foster was a beast this year, but holy crap he was bad (horrible angles and piss poor tackling), his run defense is a big knock Raider Fans have against him.

Michael Huff is not the answer here...even if he might be marginally better than what Bernard Pollard was this year (but last year Pollard was WAY better than Michael Huff has ever been in his career)....he is NOT the answer, please look elsewhere. And this is coming from a huge UT fan.

    I'd explore briniging Huff in.

He was a part of that DB group that was considered pretty good out in Oakland.

Plus...it's Oakland. Wouldn't be the first time a player has left there and went on to play better elsewhere.

    Could you imagine?

Nnamdi Asomugha and Kareem Jackson as starting corners.
Glover Quin and Michael Huff as starting safeties.

Nickle situation, move Quin up to the line to cover the WR and bring in Nolan at safety.

Address the Front 7 early and often in the Draft.

I can imagine the Texans having the weakest run support safeties in the league if this plays out.

Huff was really good against the run at UT. Has he fallen off in Oakland?
