Message to Colts Fans: More than HALF the Texans Defense Was Overhauled!

We've won 1 game against them in our existence, 0 in Indy. Who wouldn't consider them superior at this point? If we win Sunday they'll still be considered the superior team. We've been their red-headed step child for 7 years.

Just because there are some of us not as optimistic as you going into this game doesn't mean you can call us out as people not following the team as closely as you. Which is bullshit by the way. I've been everything Texans since day 1, dude.

Don't disparage somebody for sharing a different opinion. You're a good poster and I'll hold ya to it. :winky:

I choose to post with the mindset that Bernard Pollard, Demeco Ryans,
Dunta Robinson, Brian Cushing, Mario Williams, Matt Schaub, and Andre
Johnson have about this game. If they walked into Sunday with the
mindset of the bolded text, I'd never follow this team again. However,
I'm quite sure I don't have to tell you what these guys have said
about THEIR approach to this game.

If the mindset those guys have about this game works for them, then it
works for me. I'll let you "Nervous-Nillies" bite your fingers. Me? I'm
gonna watch the biggest fight this team has had since Week 2 in
Tennessee.

That's all I'm sayin', playa.

Nervous? Nah, I'm good, bra.

I'm just not willing to say the Colts are a higher caliber team THAN the
Texans. I feel that these two teams are evenly matched, and the Colts
are NOT superior to the Texans this season. I am completely against
allowing the Colts to feel an heir of SUPERIORITY to the Texans.
Unfortunately, most posts regarding this game are in that vein (Colts
are superior to the Texans this season.)

...Your responses always confuse me. Never in any of my posts did I say that the Colts were a SUPERIOR team. I said their record was better than ours. I said we were underdogs (even if you just look at the betting line). I said that they would be our greatest challenge thus far, but never did I say they were superior, or that I expected the Texans to lose.

I'm getting tired of the name calling too. Nervous-nillies? Just because you're more optimistic, and I tend to be more "wait and see" doesn't mean you're a better fan or you have the right to throw around little insults.

I'm judging by the TONE of your posts, buddyboy, that the Texans need
to be walking on eggshells on there way to Indianapolis. They need to
take their hats off, hold them against their chests, and say in unison,
"Yassa Missa Mannen. We's gone play our bess, and hope we's win!"

Enough of that nonesense. This team has JUST AS MUCH a chance
to win this game, ANYWAY THE COLTS WANNA PLAY IT. We can play
"ball control" and win, OR we could play "shootout" and win. The Texans
are equipped to go TOE-TO-TOE with the Colts, JUST LIKE THEY DID
against the Titans at the end of last year, AND the same as WEEK 2 this
year.

I'm responding to your posts, based on your TONE.

It's extremely hard to assume tone based on straight up text. Just like sarcasm.

I agree that we have just as much of a chance the Colts have of winning. I said that. Maybe instead of trying to interpret tone, you should actually read and understand what I'm saying, rather than trying to get the gist of my tone and responding to that.
