Me and Earl Campbell

    Sunday night I had the great honor of meeting a Texas Football Legend, a Hero of mine as a child and the greatest running back ever, Earl Campbell.

    I was able to chat with him a bit as he signed my old Oiler helmet where it now sits above my office desk.

    Thanks for posting. Tyler Rose brought me lots of pleasure and pumped up my blood pressure many times. Will always have special place in my heart.

    Such a nice man. With good sons. Cool to meet him. Still feel the chills I got watching him in the dome with the crazed crowd.

    That's pretty frikkin nice...I am damn jealous.

    I wonder if any other state has such a great sports figure tied to them throughout their life from birth to retirement. Damn that trade to NO that kept it from being perfect.
