    Interesting. I don't believe we have the "owner operator law" down here.

    So he's a passenger in his own car, yet he also gets charged with DUI. I don't know how that will hold in court, it may be reduced to public intoxication.

    When will these guys ever learn? Get a limo or taxi and stay off the roads when you are drunk. I give him some credit for not getting behind the wheel himself but it still doesnt erase the fact that they were out driving around (over posted speed limits) and putting other people's lives at extreme risk.

    I think he should have to pay a heavy fine and do some alchohol awareness classes and community service (talking to kids about dangers of drugs and alcohol when driving). I think even just a one-game suspension would be a little over the top for him riding drunk in a car with another drunk but it wouldnt surprise me.
