to the 'Skins!
Just saw that, so you know they are going to do defense or OT
Jimmy Clausen just cried a little bit.
Yep, and also that Bradford will be going #1
edit: admitted conjecture on my part
Unbelievable that he got traded in his own division!!!
He wont make it past the Bills or the Browns could end up getting him
"With the #4 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select Russell Okung, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State."
Reportedly for a 2nd this year and a 3 or 4 conditional pick next year
I hope they make a Washington Philly MNF game in Philly. That would be amazing just to see the reaction he gets.
Strange move by Philly, great move by Shanahan.
Bizarre move by Shanahan. Why give up a 2nd + for a guy who may only be a round another 2 years or so. Does he have his eye on a young QB to groom who he likes? The skins will not win this year, so its a bit of a head scratcher.
I really don't think it is. I believe that Kevib Kolb will be the next Aaron Rodgers. Call me crazy. And they get good picks out of it too.
Mcnabb is not old. He still has a good five years left. He will be a free agent at the end of this year. I'm sure that him agreeing to a long term contract with the Skins was part of the deal.
He is 33 right now. You think he can still play at 38? I am thinking He can play till about 35 at top level and after that will no longer be at that top level.
He gets booed now, he'll get booed worse then.
I think he can be a decent Qb till 37-38. A good Qb is hard to get in the NFL. The Skins will probably win 3-4 more games now with McNabb than they would with Jason Campbell. They then can draft a project this year or next year and he would be ready in 3-4 years.
They are going insane...
Music to his ears. He is immune.
Doesn't he only have a year left on his contract anyway?
Yep.. I'm sure the Skins and him agreed verbally to an extension before the trade.. Do you really think he will be going anywhere else? He will trying to stick it to the dirty birds until he retires.
