The Jets are continuing discussions with the agent for guard Pete Kendall, who also is expected to be a cap casualty. With their desire to test the trade market for center Kevin Mawae now public knowledge, Jets officials are expected to gauge interest in the six-time Pro Bowler when they arrive today at the Indianapolis scouting combine.

How about the Jets give us Mawae, Abraham, and their 4th for our 1st? :pigfly:

That would nice, but we would have to have something worked out for a contract with Abraham. But it could be done.

Forgot about that. Looks like if we made an offer to Abraham and the Jets did not match it, they would receive two 1st round picks as compensation.

You seem confused texan279. If the Jets trade us Abraham and as part of the trade, we arrange a contract extension, we wouldn't owe the Jets two 1st rounders.
