I thought Marvin Lewis was sane...but then he goes and says this.....

That this game is bigger than the Superbowl game where he was Defensive Coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens.....

    And goes onto say that

This game is bigger than the two wild card games that he coached the Bengals back in 2005 and 2009.....

    Cmon man....what are you thinking.....
If I am a Ravens player who played in that superbowl...I would be upset......

Or a bengals player back in 2005 or 2009.....

I think he is beginning to sweat....

He also said this is the biggest game in his 20 year coaching career......

I just have to laugh at that .....

    :spit:

I did not think this game was so big to him.....did you?

These quotes are from a news article on the Bengals website.....

He's just trying to motivate his team 'cause the playoffs are on the line......I guess....don't know. But yeah, SB is a little bigger than this week's game...lol.

I think what he means to say.

"The upcoming game is always the most important game."

This game is that big for this Bengals team - They lose this one and they can probably kiss a playoff spot goodbye. They win it and they are in the drivers seat for the final wildcard.

As for which game is the biggest - Its the next one (or the one you are currently engaged in).

I'm not taking this game lightly folks. Our defense needs to show up. Yates need to complete some passes. It's do-able, but it ain't gonna be easy.

According to Cincy fans, it isn't. This is the first year where Lewis has had full control and you see the draft they just had. Second youngest team in the league.

Lewis can't feel safe if he misses out on the playoffs. Though he still is under contract for 2012. Mike Brown doesn't like to eat $$$ on a coach that no longer is with the team. If Lewis wants another extension, he'll need to make the playoffs.

Man, I hope there isn't anyone who is taking this game lightly.
I worry about all of them. Even the Dolts.

Could be the biggest game for him personally. If he loses and doesn't make the playoffs he could be fired.
