    Yeah I saw this story last night on ESPN.com. Looks like Green's plan to announce Smith as the starter to motivate Shipp has backfired. The Cardinals aren't looking too good in his first year. An inexperienced starting QB, an aging running back, and a bad defense. I still think Green will ultimately turn things around in Arizona.

    Thats sad, but if you had the forsight to take Smith as a longshot fantasy back.

    I though Emmit was starting anyways. I could sware I heard that on ESPN early this summer.

    Emmitt was named the starter going into the season some weeks back.

    Yes, but Ship was likely to steal any meaningful carries.

    it's a shame that arizona can never seem to catch a break...shipp was going to be the number 2 runningback but i can garrentee you that he was going to get more carries than emmitt by the end of the year...so sad so sad
