I really think Justin Pugh fits in this system. looks to me like it would now require a second however.

    Justin Pugh, OT/OG, Syracuse

As an OG? I don't see him as an OT. Texans need another big time WR, a legit NT, possibly a DB, and likely another OT. I am not sure he is an elite OG prospect like a Warford. If he is a solid prospect, do you feel he would be a better choice than say a solid NT, WR, DB, etc?

I prefer a prospect who fits scheme first & if provides versatility to play multiple positions that's value added.

who do you feel Texans target in 1st?

    DT -Short/Hankins/Jesse Williams
    WR - Keenan Allen/Tavon Autsin/DeAndre Hopkins/Robert Woods
    DB - Amerson/Trufant/Elam

any of these prospects for other positions slip all the way to the Texans 2nd?

doubtful. so all things being equal Texans will be trying to pull one of the top 2nd tier positional players, regardless which one out of these is selected in the 1st.

the top OT/OG prospect left on their board could just be Pugh in 2nd. maybe LZ will kick in his thoughts regarding him, his draft grade, fit etc...?

There is a lot to like about the O-linemen for 2013 but without knowing what the Texans think about their current O-line starters or depth makes it hard to project them taking an OL on the first two days.

As long as the medical passes, I think Allen is the pick in that group.

How many here feel strongly with Vikings trading Harvin to Seattle they replace him with Austin or Allen?

They're drafting Te'o and Eifert and it won't be too bad.

OT in draft does not look good for us especially if Long is better suited as G and Menelik did not do well at combine. I did not watch Amrstead & if Newton is as serious as McClain indicated I might be forced to look at Williams if healthy or Faulk come draft day.

Question for LZ. Have you heard anything about Newtons injury? If its bad could you throw out some names of OT's that fit our system.
