Leinart agrees in principle to 6 year, 50 million deal

    50 Mill for the #10???? Pretty strong and 14 is garanteed. I bet some owners aren't real happy that the Cards spent that much for that low of a pick. IMO, he is a good QB that will do well with the Cards, but the money seems out of wack for the spot. Both the USC guys seemed very focused on getting a 50 Mill. contract. Oh well, it got him into camp.

    Just another terrible move for the Cardinals franchise. Letting this noodlearmed primadonna walk all over them, for shame.

    The Cardinals are looking like the next America's team for the 21st century. Leinart, Fitgerald, Bolquin, James, and Warner.

    Wow. I think Leinart will prove worthy of that money (as worthy as he would have been had he been drafted in a position that could expect to receive it) but hats off to his agent for pulling that one off. Hopefully Matt and his teammates can get to work and put this behind them.
