I saw on NFL Network that Shantee Orr was resigned to a one year contract. I think it was only for $850,000 and I didn't see if there was a signing bonus. All it says on the Texans transactions page is that he was resigned.

Good deal. Will add depth at a reasonable price.

Orr was a restricted FA, so he was offered the minimum by the TExans and had the right to find a better deal elsewhere but nothing was there. He has done a good job of figuring out how to stay on a roster, but will be in battle with Barber and probably Clark for the starting job he had last year.

I wouldn't mind giving him a shot as a 3rd down pass rusher. He showed some skills when we played the 3-4

    yeah???

This guy was the biggest disappointment on the team for me last season. He looked great in training camp and seems to have all the physical gifts to play the position. He just lacks the raw football instincts unfortunately.

When does Wong get cut anyway?

Orr is suited to be more of a OLB in a 3-4 defense. He could just be battling for depth.

He was fairly good on special teams, and losing Troy Evans put a big hole in that part of the game.
