What are all your thoughts on possibly signing Kris Jenkins? I know he is coming off back to back season ending ACL surgeries but when hes is healthy he is one of the best NT in the NFL. If we sign him we can limit his plays and let him possibly mold one of our young players into a NT as well as see some reps and hopefully dominate

Nope.... He's 32 "coming off two season ending injuries". That said, I'm sure Chris Meyers would love to see him on the Texans roster.

Then definitely. We need guys at every level of the defense, even though Jenkins is coming off a second season cut short due to injuries, he's a veteran presence that knows how to play the middle of a 3-4 line. Everything you said in your original post is exactly how I feel. We don't have a true clear cut starter at the nose so I like the idea of collecting guys that can play there, that way you can make up the for the lack of talent at the position with depth and constantly rotating in fresh guys

I'd take him in a heartbeat, granted the contract is reasonable and he wanted to be here.

If they aren't going to sign Chester Pitts to a minimum deal, they aren't going to offer Kris Jenkins a minimum deal.

Difference is we had someone to replace Chester , where as we don't have a true NT. I also remember hearing Chester didn't like to run the plays he was told to, or something along those lines.
