Deal is done. Kolb will sign a five-year extension for over $63 million with over $20 mill guaranteed.

Good for him! He's got the second best WR in the league, so I look forward to seeing the Cards beat up on Dallas twice a season. :thumbup

They're not in the same division anymore.

    Good for him.

And a great deal for the eagles.

Drc is going to look good across from Asante.

That. But at least he didn't go to our division rival like the Browns or Steelers. I'd hate to see Kolb and Webster Slaughter hook up.

d'oh! Brain fart going back in time. Thanks for the correction.

At least he's in a weak division and this gives him a good chance to win the division.

Also, DB in case you are still confused, they are the Arizona Cardinals. They are no longer the St. Louis Cardinals.

Can't believe Kolb... QB from UH has a higher street value than VY from Texas, Lienart from USC, & even Donavan McNabb.

DRC, a 2nd rounder and 60 million is a hell of alot for an unproven guy but if he becomes their franchise quarterback it'll be worth it.

Could be a great deal for both teams. Definitely good for the Eagles. VERY good for Kolb.

But hey you know what, the Eagles got screwed. They could have gotten Patrick Peterson instead of DRC!!!! :yesthatssarcasm:

VY was carried by a good defense
    Leinart never panned out
but McNabb may be old but I think he can still be a good player.

I can't believe Jamie Dukes has such a big problem with Kolbs deal. It's the same thing we did for Schaub.

Sign me up. RT @jadande: 1 of the best jobs in sports is being Michael Vick's backup. Look how it paid off for Matt Schaub and Kevin Kolb

Schaub did come in 15 million cheaper, with an extra year on the contract, and only 7 million guaranteed, opposed to Kolbs supposed 20+ million guaranteed.

I don't mind the trade for Kolb (I think the Eagles are the winners of the trade right now though) - but the very juicy contract with it is a little much.
