Interesting, you could almost substitue TEXANS for chiefs in some of these, except for us having better QB ratings and a non-physically hurt RB... mentally not sure though.

We REALLY need to try and exploit some of these weaknesses here. If we could pickup a win against KC, which we are totally capable of, it would be HUGE. :headbang:

Here is hoping we don't cure KCs woes.

I have a feeling we will pull this one out. KC's defense is worse this year than last year. Trent Green has yet to throw a TD. Their WR's are all banged up. If Capers can light a fire under his players, and we could pick up a win on the road at KC, it should get the ball rolling. But if we go in there and KC walks all over us, well, I dunno yet...

Take away the turnovers, we are 2-0, and are one of the top 10 teams in the league...Just food for thought...

I think any of us could have told him what he said in the article. It's not rocket science, keep two hands on the ball.

I agree, did it take him 4 fumbles before he realized he needs to have both hands on the ball???

Here's the one that really scares me....

Chiefs | Must Improve on Third and Long - from www.KFFL.com
    Mon, 20 Sep 2004 22:35:02 -0700

KCChiefs.com reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Dick Vermeil said his team's offense must improve its productivity on third and long situations in order to have any success for the remainder of the season.

Giving up huge gains on 3rd & long has been our specialty so far.

True. But Trent Green has been horrible so far and KC's WR's are banged up. Priest Holmes is what is making me nervous right now.

From the looks of things, if the Texans play hard and smart (if???), we should beat KC. Their defense has been bad. Their offense has been bad. I know KC will be pumped, but I honestly believe that the Texans can win it if they don't shoot themselves in the foot. :headbang:

Yeah, and neither has Green been able to score a TD. Giving up TD's on crucial circumstances has also been our specialty so far.... :thumbdown

KC has the worst defense in the NFL right now, ours is second to the bottom. Should be an interesting game.

its gonna be a shootout, our defense has the ability to put a stop on them, its just can they play up to that... the chiefs are playing close to their maximum potential for their defensive roster.

If we can pull off a win IN Arrowhead, no matter how ugly it might be, it could be a big confidence boost for the team.

And our offense is 10th total... Stats wise, we are solid (our D is even ahead of Jacksonvilles) but we are T-32nd in the most important stat of all... the Win Loss Column.
