What are the 3 most important keys to winning next week. For me it is:

    1) Don't let Ervin return balls (he has been bad all year and had 2 fumbles today) put in Hunt or someone else.

    2) Don't run up the middle (we average 1.5 yards when we do this).

    3) Don't let up if we are ahead. This is dangerous and Brady or Smith will rip us to shreds if we do.

What are your keys to victory next week?

I think, most importantly, we score more points than the other team. :)

That said, Ervin did have a TD return called back because Mercilus ran into the punter. And strictly speaking, those were both muffs, not fumbles. Point taken otherwise, though.

I have noticed a reliable tendency for this team to run up the middle on 2nd and 10 after a 1st down incompletion. This is almost always stopped for two yards or less. This team, especially Miller, seems to be more effective running off-tackle.

And you never see a Bill Belichick team do what BO'B (and Kubes before him) did with a solid second half lead -- go ultra-conservative and let the opponent catch up. O'B was a Belichick disciple for a while; I guess he never learned this part of it.

    2. Poisoning Bill Belichick

    3. Poisoning Tom Brady.

I think #2 is not going to change. Lamar Miller is awful and for some reason we havent benched him. Or changed the calls on the run

We have e to have a perfect game to win against the Pats. I'm not convinced we can win without at least 1 defensive or special teams TD

The defense needs to put consistent heavy pressure on Brady.

Brock needs to be solid without turnovers.

BoB needs to ditch the wussified game plan against patriots like he had the last time they met.

We need our defense to play their best game of the year, we need our offense to play error free, we need to stay healthy

Miller isn't awful. The way we use him is atrocious.

IF they play the Pats, well the win was nice but the season is over.

They ain't beating this current Pats. That just isn't happening.

They could injure Brady on the first series, and Jimmy is ten times better than Oz. He'd still outplay him considerably for the win.

I don't like that OB decided to turtle, but when did the Raiders ever catch up? They were up 13 at the half, 20 in the 4th quarter and won by 13.

    Winning next week? Seriously?

I can't even imagine that happening in my wildest fantasies at this point. Next week is going to be another nationally broadcast depantsing.

The opposition always puts together a good drive once the prevent mentality kicks in. One good drive is pretty much a given. It's putting a stop to it during or after that one good drive that matters.

Bill has been with George O'Leary a lot longer than he's been with Belichick. Godsey has too.

We might be using Erhardt-Perkins terminology, but we're using O'Leary concepts.

Or... we don't have Tom Brady & it just looks different.

That is a good point, but I also think if the Defense can play tough and keep the Patriots score under ours, it could be a key factor.

Patriots, Kraft, and Brady especially will remember that Mcnair was one of the owners that pushed Goodell to carry on that Deflategate frame job. Our dumbass owner never knows when to shut his mouth. They'll be salivating for this match up.

So what's the scenario? Fins pull off an upset at Pittsburgh tomorrow, we go to KC and Dolphins go to NE right?
If Pitt wins we go to NE?
    Do I have that right?
