Just announced on 790 am.
His eye sight is exceptional as he must have read the writing on the wall. I did like him though.
Good luck to Kailee. He was one of the good guys around here.
WOW, unexpected. Wish him well and good luck in his future. And yes Vinny I agree, one of the good guys.
Sad to see him go. He actually used to moonlight at an electricity brokerage firm I used to work at and he would show up to work a couple of days a week as an energy trader. I guess the lure of an electricity brokerage career and massive injuries made him see the light.
Not really that unexpected.
Though he came back from a serious injury, he wasn't quite the same.
In the offseasons, he has been working for a local corporation. I talked to someone he worked with and this guy said that Kailee is really really bright and can pretty much write his ticket post football. That he wasn't going to be one of those guys that hangs on to football because they have nothing else.
Good luck Kailee.
I would like to see one of the local radio sports shows bring him on like Mario Elie or Kevin Bass.
Good luck, KW! He was super cool at All Access last year, and I wish the best for his post football life.
I wish Wong the best. He's one of the good ones.
not the suprise wow, but "the times are changing":
2007 - All gone!
Good Luck Kailee!!
Good Luck KW. One of the best spoken athletes ever. He should join the NFL Network or ESPN. I really liked KW.
Most memorable moment? His Lights out hit.
Best wishes KW.
I'm going to take a moment of silence.
Ok, this really proves to me what a stand up guy Kailee is. He knew when it was time to hang up the shoes. Best of luck to you Mr. Wong. You have more than earned the respect of all the Houston Texans fans. Thank you for everything.
Good idea. He is an excellent speaker with a very good radio voice. Add to that his insight into football, and his overall intelligence, and I think you have a great combo.
Sad to see him go. He was never a great LB, but made a lot of plays, and is a great person, with a lot of heart. That's pretty easy to see.
Good luck Kailee!
Wow, good luck to Kailee.
Truly one of the class guys that we had around here. Sad to see him go after all the struggles he had the past year coming back from injury.
Does this make Steve McKinney the last Pre-David Carr Texan on the roster?
I wish him the best of luck in his future career.
Good luck on the Wong and Winding road ahead!
Always do the right thing not the Wong thing!
He always seemed like a very likeable guy when in public. Good luck KW.
That said, seeing that he retired it frees up what ever cap he accounted for, correct? I don't think there's much out there as far as talent goes to sign, but it could be used if there are any player cut that could be beneficial to our team.
jjjezebel is going to have to change her signature.
