As reported in today's Chronicle, Bennie Joppru is eligible to begin practice starting Monday the 17th. The team has until Nov 29th to decide if he is in good enough shape to play this year and to include him in practice. Once Joppru begins practice, he can do so for 3 weeks before the team has to decide whether to activate him or place him on injured reserve. Joppru is currently running, but not doing any cutting. IMO, he should continue with his own rehab thru Sunday the 27th. He should start practice the 28th and should be activated for the last three games of the season. This would give him a good head start on the off season, looking toward the mini-camps and next years training camp. If he reinjures himself this year, during practice or the final three games, he should be released. And of course, if the coaches feel he is ready, this schedule could be accelerated..
