Um, Owen Daniels did just fine today. And Casey is the FB.

Casey was great today! A major bright spot.

Huh? Are you confusing some of Casey's plays with Daniel's? Daniels had 76 yds and a TD.

I started to write a scathing denunciation then just said wow. Maybe you did not watch the game.

Nice to see they opened up a couple of other blades on our teams version of the Swiss Army Knife. Kid did well.

Just want to renew my argument about how great a draft/off-season it was in '09:

    Cushing
    Barwin
    Caldwell
    Quin
    Casey
    McCain
    T.Nolan
    AFoster
    Jamison

not to mention the Antonio Smith free agent signing.

Casey is a stud. I was skeptical at first when we let Leach go. Having a FB who can catch and go in motion is extremely dangerous. I'm looking forward to seeing what he's going to do from the backfield. I have a feeling most defensive coordinators are going to be having fits thinking about how to cover all the weapons we have.

    Casey is the shit.

I made a comment a week or 2 ago on here about not thinking that he could be as good here as Leach was. I got plenty of replies about how much more versatile he is and how many more options he gives us. Today, I'm a believer. When he laid out for that TD pass, I was like "OMG! Who the F is this guy?". He impressed me today, and that's not an easy thing to do. Hats off to the kid for playing balls out, all game. He's gonna do awesome things for us this season.

i think we will begin to see this more and more around the NFL if it continues to work so well for the texans, putting more speed/athletic guys at the FB position.
