That was not an any given Sunday moment in my opinion. We beat the team that they fielded, just as we have been beaten with the team we have fielded in the past. It had much more to do with everyone who touched the field playing with a purpose.

I wonder what kind of cheese goes well with Jaguars whine? :heh:

We showed up and played four quarters of football yesterday, and our D finally came to make a statement. I could care less who is injured for Jacksonville, because they would have had a tough game against us regardless of their situation.

Waah Waah boo hoo. None of this worked when we ran Dave Ragone and Tony Hollings against them a few years ago along with a make-shift defense. We got stomped and had our noses rubbed in it then ..... deal with it!

    Exactly. That's why I said:

BTW, your tickets are sweet. Nice angle of the game.

Nice outfit yesterday. I had remarked to my crew that it would be something to see and you indeed brought your varsity game. :)

    Hey, aren't we 5-4 all-time against them?

The Texans are now 5-4 against the Jags, not vice versa, Stephy.

That aside, why can't their folks just admit they got whipped? Even their most hard-core knows the stink coming out of their website.

I guess this part doesn't apply to lousy journalists, who more than made up for any lack of complaining from the Jags players.

It should have read like this, but who cares about the truth these days.

It would be true if Maurice Jones-Drew-Johnson-Smith didn't score.

Dead on. All the Jag fans ive talked with love throwing the "injury bug excuse" out there like no other team in the NFL deals with injuries. The funniest part about it though is that Jag fans are jumping off the playoff ship because they lost to us. Hell, they sound worse than some of us did after losing to Dallas!!

"We thought the game started at 4pm..."
"We forgot the tape for Byron's ankle at the hotel..."
"Ephraim Salaam kept us laughing too hard..."
"The red shirts in the crowd kept us from seeing the ball..."
"The game plan on Byron's sleeve got blurred from his tears"
    "David Carr's smile blinded us..."
"Houston had turned up the humidity to force our fumbles..."
"Andre Johnson's cleats were too long allowing him to catch that ball in the endzone..."

C'mon now. Most all the players and fans acknowledge we got our butts kicked yesterday. You can't hold one reporter's article against us, can you?

The 24 hour rule has expired. I'm done groveling. Very good game, texans, see in you in a few weeks.

That came from the article. I bust out laughing when I read this.

And to the good Jags fans, we will see you in the small city of Jacksonville. Will that game be black day (or whatever it is called), when the Jags where black jerseys.

It might be "Blacked Out Day" depending on the attendance level. Sorry, I couldnt' resist. Sicilian Jag seems like a pretty classy fan.
