The Good Doctor makes his (I hope not) curtain call! If this is the last time, thank you so much for all the time you took explaining things to us knucklehead. Please don't go, but if you do I wish you well in all of life's endeavors. There is no replacing you.

I certainly didn't read it as he was leaving. I surely hope he's not. Too much an integral part of this board

@CloakNNNdagger, miss ya around here, my friend. I hope all is well in your life and you're just tired of all the nonsense on here. I don't post nearly as much anymore, myself.

what part of "My Last Update:" snuck past you?
Now perhaps if we keep the :slapfight: and :strangle: and :pursefight: to a minimum - and eliminated from this Injury Thread, maaaaybe he'll reconsider. Or at least pop in when something major happens.
    It's up to us.
Can we behave? At least in the Injury Thread.

I hope Doc will reconsider 'cause I'd like to know if Watson's broken rib and collapsed lung have fully healed up. Haven't heard anything about that and I've learned no news isn't always good news.

I liked his input here in the injury thread, but I really liked his input in the weekly game thread. Relevant info at relevant times.

None of it 'snuck' by me... but I did interpret the 'Last update' differently than most. I was so happy to see Doc Jean back that I didn't consider he was saying goodbye, and I devoutly hope he wasn't

Right. All he asked was that you (in general) kept all the bullshit that every damn thread on this board turns into, out of the injury thread. Seemed a pretty simple request that was apparently still too complicated for some.

Gonna miss those weekly injury reports and the commentary that came along with it.

Don't forget the soul crushing pessimism that accompanies them. It's scary how accurate his is.

Our TE routes lead them head on into the defender. Remember fiedo?

So the Texans have concussion causing routes for their TE's that other teams don't? Isn't that a little over the top?

Slow developing iso routes like this. He's a sitting duck. I mean no play action, no misdirection at all.

TE's have been running that route on every team since football was invented.

O'Brien is well known to use too little play action, too many iso routes, and runs it too often in 2nd and long putting them in many 3rd and long situations.

I don't think it's crazy to suggest that adds up to increased risk for receivers

Good to see you back, Doc. Thanks for the bad news. We need to face the bitter truth. I hope it isn't the last report, but all the best in any case.
