If waived, would Kenneth Darby or Antonio Pittman be a good fit for the Texans?

Some were pretty high on Darby when he came out & Pittman has done some good things early on. They're both young & our depth isn't exactly setting the league on fire. Chris Brown looks like the real thing, but he's never been able to stay healthy. So, if as the blurb says, either one of Darby or Pittman is released, would they be a good fit for the Texans & would you take a look?

They could be good fits but I think there will be better backs who are released Tuesday... personally I think Louis Rankin with the Raiders or Benjarvus Green-Ellis would be attractive options if cut

What do you guys think about Terdell Sands, DT Oakland... He is being released, I think, and he's a physical freak that has played well at points in his career. I think he weighs about 340 lbs and is 6ft 7inches... 28 years old?

Why is Oakland cutting him? They just gave him a nice contract last season. He was one of the FA I was watching last season that never made it to the open market.

    I like the guy.

I am watching Anthony Alridge with the Redskins he has carried 9 times for 49yds for a 5.4 yds/att. average. And he does not make the depth chart.

And I am watching the Chiefs, they cannot keep all these guys.
RB 27 Larry Johnson 26 Jackie Battle 25 Jamaal Charles 29 Dantrell Savage 21 Kolby Smith 40 Javarris Williams

And do any of these names look familiar?
    Chris Taylor RB 6-0 224 11/7/1983 4 Indiana Memphis, Tenn. FA-09,
    Kevin Faulk RB 5-8 202 6/5/1976 11 Louisiana State Carencro, La. D2-99 (46th overall)
34 Sammy Morris RB 6-0 220 3/23/1977 10 Texas Tech San Antonio, Texas UFA (MIA)-07
    39 Laurence Maroney RB 5-11 220 2/5/1985 4 Minnesota St. Louis, Mo. D1-06(21st Overall)
    21 Fred Taylor RB 6-1 228 1/27/1976 12 Florida Pahokee, Fla. FA-09
    42 BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB 5-11 215 7/2/1985 2 Mississippi New Orleans, La. FA-08
Again the Pats should not be able to keep them all. Who is that 1st name? No way we resign him.

I reported in another thread that Gaffney broke his thumb in practice. With Gaffney and Marshal out, could the Texans be eyeing an RB for a WR? And could the Broncs be interested?

St. Louis is awful. If you cant make that team then you shouldn't be in the NFL. Kind of like someone picking up any of our cast offs from the 02-03 seasons.

Chris Taylor is a no but all the rest of the names you listed look good. Foster in the last game looked like any other dude out there but nothing promising yet. Chris Brown is the right man for the job but his health is the question as we all know. A third option becomes a must have when you have an injury prone player on your team like you do in Brown because you don't know when he is going to go down. Your third RB then moves up the depth chart and now turns into your second RB. Not all these names will make it onto their respected teams after the preseason is over and I hope the Texans bring in one of these guys when they are cut for a true look besides Taylor of course.

I wouldn't mind the Texans giving Pittman a look. He played pretty well here and there last season for the Rams who didn't have a passing game to help or a great O line.
